The director who won National Award for his film Shahid in the year 2013, Hansal Mehta, has confirmed that he has roped in Queen actress Kangana Ranaut for a biopic. But the director took to his Twitter account to clarify the rumours that the biopic is not actually about legendary mountaineer Bachendri Pal.
As soon as the rumours started to make the rounds, the legendary director Hansal Mehta came forward to clear the air about his next venture and tweeted about it.

Hansal Mehta, who debuted with his feature film ‘Jayate’ in year 1997, is well known for his unconventional and brilliant films such as Shahid and City Lights, is all set to start with his new project, a biopic. Kangana will be playing the lead in the biopic.
Well, now all we have to do is wait for more updates about the biopic by director Hansal Mehta to pour in, especially to see who the biopic is about.
Apart from that, we are quite excited to see how well the actress, who created magic on the big screen with her brilliant performance, exceeds all the expectations, since she’ll be working with a fine filmmaker like Hansal Mehta.
