MUMBAI: The gorgeous Begum of Pataudi, Kareena Kapoor Khan has been roped in to endorse a jewellery brand.
Known for her extremely stunning looks and equally power-packed performances on screen, the new Begum has been signed on as brand ambassador for Malabar Gold & Diamonds.
Spotted at the announcement of the coalition, Kareena looked ecstatic to be adding yet another high-end brand to her endorsement kitty. She pulled off a desi bridal look in a maroon crystal-studded lehenga choli, with a black blouse and an enormous, stunning necklace and jewelled headpiece.
Said Kareena, of her latest brand acquisition: “It is my pleasure to be the face of such a prestigious brand that has become synonymous with style, design, beauty and trust.”
Buzz is also that Kareena may play the female lead opposite Hrithik Roshan in Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’. Though Katrina Kaif was also in the running, reports suggest that the makers have zeroed in on Kareena.
However, director Karan Malhotra has debunked these claims, by choosing to remain tight lipped.
“The leading lady of the film is not yet finalised. So far it is only Hrithik Roshan who has been finalised. I can’t talk much about whether Kareena is in the film as long as Karan (Johar) doesn’t make an official announcement,” said Malhotra, in no uncertain terms.
