Katrina Kaif Unveils Her Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds




Bollywood’s diva Katrina Kaif unveiled her wax statue at Madame Tussauds in London on March 27. Katrina Kaif has become latest Indian celebrity to have a wax statue at Madame Tussauds. Katrina’s statue was unveiled in a grand ceremony. There were dancers and music during the launch of the wax statue. Katrina was joined by her sisters and brother during the unveiling of the statue in London. Madame Tussauds took to their official Twitter account to reveal Bang Bang actress Katrina Kaif‘s statue to the world. They tweeted, “We’re delighted to unveil Katrina Kaif‘s brand new wax figure here at @MadameTussauds London! #Bollywood #katrinakaif ”

Katrina‘s wax figure was created by a team of 20 artists and sculptors over a four-month period. Hundreds of fine measurements were taken of Katrina at a sitting in Mumbai. It cost around ₤150,000 to create Katrina’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds. The dress and jewellery on the statue are donated by Katrina herself. Now here’s something really interesting, before the world and Katrina herself, her wax statue was seen by Katrina’s sisters. Yes, Katrina’s sisters saw the wax statue before the actress!

With this, Katrina Kaif became the 8th Bollywood actor after Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mahduri Dixit to be honoured with a figure at Madame Tussauds.
