Katrina Kaif recently said in an interview that she hopes her script sense is good. Well, we seriously have our doubts there. We have been closely following her career graph in last few years and we don’ think Katrina you have done a sound job in selecting the right film. Let us tell you what we observed.
We agree initially people do a lot of movies to make their place in the industry. And you did go Boom doom to achieve that. You did teary eyed to doe-eyed heroine roles as well so that people notice you more and give you more roles. Then when you managed to find a footing here, he went on to do meatier roles like in New York, Namastey London, Race, Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahaani and Rajneeti. But in last couple year your script choices have made us wonder if you are getting too desperate to work with big names.
We wonder why you signed up Ek Tha Tiger. Even if we want to accept the fact that you wanted to prove to the world that all is well with your ex-Salman Khan, we still though you would be a better judge of scripts. Guess next time you decide to work with Salman, try to make sure you a meatier role.
Then came Dhoom 3. Well even Amair Khan’s batmobile clone bike had better screen presence than you. What prompted you to sign that film? The lure of Aamir Khan, Yash Raj Film, the franchise or the fact that you needed a more than 100 crore making film in your kitty like Deepika Padukone? Guess we will never know.
Now Bang Bang! is about to release and as someone who’s watched the original, there is hardly any meaty character sketch of the actress in the film. Hope katrina manages some more screen time a-to show us her acting abilities and not just to star in a A plus film. Whats your take ?
