Is Khamoshiyan's Sapna Pabbi The Next Mallika Sherawat?

The sizzling debutant from Mahesh Bhatt’s “Khamoshiyan”, Sapna Pabbi is the talk of the town for her bold performance in the movie. In a recent interview, when remarks were being made of her being the next Mallika Sherawat, the actress politely denied it.

Mahesh Bhatt’s productions have been known to portray women in bold erotic characters. Like Mallika Sherawat’s “Murder”, the recently released “Khamoshiyan” saw Sapna Pabbi in bold intimate scenes with co-stars Ali Fazal and Gurmeet Choudhary.

So naturally, comparisons were being made between Sapna and Mallika Sherawat. When asked about her views about being portrayed as the next Mallika Sherawat, Sapna Pabbi politely refused giving all due credits to Mallika.

When asked about the same, the 24-year-old actress responded, “Really? Well, I think she’s great. Her success is commendable. Mallika Sherawat is in her own space. She has her own place in Bollywood and in society.”

“I would like to say that I’m not a Mallika Sherawat, I’m Sapna Pabbi and I really hope I can always be Sapna Pabbi”, Sapna added.

Sapna Pabbi who played the character of Anil Kapoor’s daughter in the hit TV series 24 will be making her acting debut in “Khamoshiyan” which is all set to release this Friday, January 30, 2015.
