Talented actor Manoj Bajpayee recently set a record of being the first Indian actor to bag the ‘Best Actor’ award at the prestigious Asia Pacific Screen Awards in Brisbane. The two time national award winner was rewarded for his outstanding performance in Hansal Mehta’s Aligarh. Choosing challenging roles and effortlessly delivering it on big screen, Manoj Bajpayee can be easily said as one of the most phenomenal actors Bollywood has got. Carrying forward his legacy in contributing great knowledge of cinema, the actor is all set to inaugurate the SMILE International Film Festival for Children and Youth.
The international kid fest will be taking place in the capital city Delhi, from 5th to 9th December where Manoj Bajpayee will be the guest of honour. He will be kick starting the fest and have an interaction session with the younger audience. With an aim to showcase meaningful global cinema for children and youth, the festival is going to host a special screening of Manoj’s critically acclaimed films: Budhia: Born to Run and Chitagong. The international fest which is in its second edition is going to be attended by approximately 12000 children and youth catering to young group(aged 4 to 25).
Talking about it the fine actor Manoj Bajpayee said, “I will be attending the SMILE International Film Festival for Children and Youth on the 5th December. Youth are the future of the nation and I feel cinema holds a special impact on their life. It is essential that today’s youth watches the right kind of films and get inspired to make some magnificent masterpiece in their future life.
