Nawazuddin Siddiqui is very soon going to be seen in the noir thriller Monsoon Shootout.

When it comes to the most talented actors of the Bollywood industry, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is one name which is always taken. The versatile actor has already impressed us with films like Manjhi The Mountain Man, Badlapur, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Mom. And now we will see us giving another fabulous performance in the film Monsoon Shootout.

Although the film has got a very few days before its release, we don’t see the actor promoting it. And now we know the reason behind it. Actually the film was completed long back. And has already been screened at the Cannes Film Festival, that also in the year 2013. It had been struggling for a mainstream release in India.

Meanwhile, Nawaz allotted his dates to his other projects. And that is why he is now too busy to promote Monsoon Shootout. A source told SpotboyE, “Nawazuddin had shot for Guneet Monga’s Monsoon Shootout quite a while ago and there were rumours of the film being shelved. Now that the makers have decided to release it, Nawaz was keen on promoting the film. However, his packed schedule does not permit it as his dates were not blocked in advance.”

The source added on saying, “Making last minute changes in his shoot commitments would be unfair, inconvenient and unprofessional to the makers and other talent involved.”

Talking about the film, Monsoon Shootout is a crime thriller directed by Amit Kumar. The film has been produced by Monga, Anurag Kashyap, Arun Rangachari and Vivek Rangachari. Starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vijay Verma, Neeraj Kabi and Tannishtha Chatterjee, the film is all set to hit the theatres on December 15, this year.
