Nawazuddin Siddiqui Opens Up About Misunderstandings With Irrfan Khan

Bollywood’s two frontrunners actors Irrfan Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui have time and again been in the limelight for their equation. The duo worked together in the award winning movie ‘The Lunchbox’, and since then things don’t seem to be all well between them. Earlier it was noticed that Nawazuddin left Khan’s name out of his award acceptance speech while thanking The Lunchbox team. This struck a chord and the rumour mills started churning that there is a beef going on between the two stars.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui has however clarified that he did not leave Irrfan’s name out intentionally and that there is no bad blood. The star said that he did not mention a lot of people’s name and that just happened by fault. Nawaz went on to say that there was no intention to ignore Irrfan Khan. The actor stated that he has nothing against Irrfan and that both of them just like to keep to themselves. The most interesting thing he said was that they may not be friends, but they’re certainly not enemies.

Irrfan Khan has time and again been bombarded with questions about Nawazuddin Siddiqui and their equation. So much so that once the star got so annoyed of the paparazzi and their constant quizzes about Nawaz, that he left the interview without answering the question at all. Asking about his ‘rivalry’ with Nawazuddin Siddiqui made Irrfan Khan angry to the core. Well from what the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ star says, one thing is clear. Both Nawazuddin and Irrfan are doing their own thing in this industry and they surely don’t bother keeping a track of what their fellow industry members are doing.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently gearing up for his role in Shah Rukh Khan starrer film ‘Raaes’. Much like Irrfan Khan, he is also set to leave his mark on the Hollywood industry as Nawaz will soon star in a movie with Nicole Kidman. Irrfan Khan who recently starred in ‘Jazbaa’ will also be seen in ‘Inferno’ starring Tom Hanks.
