Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lost her father Krishnaraj Rai on Saturday. After one month of battle with his health, Krishnaraj Rai passed away due to cancer on Saturday at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. Aishwarya Rai looked inconsolable at the funeral of her father and the picture of her teary eyed just left her broken too.
The Bachchan family kept the prayer meet in Taj Lands Hotel, attended by Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aaradhya and other close members of the family. Ash’s brother Aditya Rai was also seen at the prayer meet. He was seen crying and broken with the irreparable loss.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father had cancer in the past and he likely had a recurrence. He was supposed to return home a couple of weeks back but due to the critical condition, he was shifted to the ICU. Just three days before his death, his condition worsened. During the tough phase, Abhishek was seen by wife Aishwarya’s side. The two were seen at the hospital all day and only returned home to freshen up and to meet their daughter Aaradhya.
Well, Amitabh Bachchan also took to his blog to grieve over Krishnaraj Rai’s death. Amitabh Bachchan penned down an emotional post on Krishnaraj Rai’s death. In the words, he has expressed how sorrow, grief and everything takes place after the person who has gone in the arms of the heaven.
