But the battle never took place…Bollywood on screen super cops ‘Chulbul Pandey’ a.k.a Salman Khan and ‘Khiladi’ aka Akshay Kumar, two major superstars in their own right were seen on one platform last night.
The megastars collided, albeit minus the expected fireworks, to promote the latter’s fresh film, ‘Khiladi 786’. With two mega stars on stage, one would have expected some sparks to fly. Instead, what we witnessed was a very surprisingly healthy camaraderie between the two mighty men of tinsel town.
On a special Saturday episode of reality TV show Bigg Boss, we spotted ‘Khiladi’ Akshay Kumar and his beautiful co-star Asin on the sets with ‘Dabangg’ Chulbul Pandey, the host Salman Khan.
The two embraced like old friends, and were seen setting the stage on fire with their killer dance moves and their imitation of each other’s steps. They even shared some friendly banter and histrionics, much to the delight of the studio audiences, who were seen in splits thanks to the two handsome actors.
Akshay chose to wear his now-famous ‘Khiladi 786’ look of pink kurta, jeans and a colourful scarf. He looked fitter than ever in a pair of sunglasses. Asin played it safe in an orange designer anarkali set.
Salman rocked out in a light pink blazer, pink shirt and grey trousers. The only man in these parts of the world, who can carry off pink so stunningly, is Salman ‘Tiger’ Khan of course!
This Saturday special episode will also see the evicted housemates, Vrajesh and Mink speak about their experience on the show, and their time spent with the other housemates. The promos shown last night promise this episode will be yet another fun-filled extravaganza, with the adorable host Salman Khan keeping us all entertained.
In other news, we have learnt that the reality TV show has become super popular. The show and the hashtag, #BB6, have been trending for the past four days in India, ever since the ‘Statue and Release’ episode which is being touted as the best ever Bigg Boss episode of all time. Looks like host Salman Khan can now ask for a pay rise, seeing the mass popularity and sky rocketing TRP’s the show is generating!
