MUMBAI: Bollywood’s resident bad boy with a heart of gold, ‘Dabangg’ actor Salman Khan revealed his gracious side by making an appearance at the ‘IBN7 Super Idols’ Awards.
Bollywood’s most bankable hero was all geared up for hero-giri, albeit of a different kind, at the ‘IBN7 Super Idols’ awards on Sunday. The man was there to felicitate 11 Indian athletes who participated in the London Paralympics 2012 and specially-abled achievers who have soared beyond physical challenges and conventional barriers to realise their chosen dreams.
These are of course, the real life heroes of our country, who face all odds and emerge as champions. The award ceremony honoured 11 specially-abled individuals, who despite their physical challenges, managed to realise their dreams. The awards were to honour the passion, ability and conviction of India’s ‘Special Achievers’ who have conquered the greatest challenges of life. These brave men and women deserve our highest regard, for the unbelievable feats they accomplish and the great honour they bring to our country.
‘IBN7 Super Idols’ are people who lead and inspire by example and make us better human beings and awaken the spirit of self belief in us.
Salman ‘Tiger’ Khan was present at the event, and was his most charming, gracious self as he honoured the special athletes. The man looked ripped in a simple white shirt black trousers combo, with a new short crew cut.
Also present were Esha Gupta and Prachi Desai; both the ladies choosing short dresses for the occasion. We also caught a glimpse of Pooja Bedi, Ravi Kishen, TV’s resident evil Dolly Bindra, Ashutosh Rana and Mukesh Rishi.
