MUMBAI: No, the ‘Dabangg’ Rajjo, Sonakshi Sinha has not become a last-minute addition to Abbas Mustan’s upcoming action flick, starring Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Jacqueline Fernandes and others.
Instead, Sonakshi was indulging her ‘racy’ side in quite another way altogether! Again, before your mind starts wandering in a myriad different and naughty ways here’s the full story…
Sonakshi Sinha was present at the Gitanjali races at Royal Western India Turf Club (RWITC), in Mumbai recently. The actress who arrived at the invitation of director Milan Luthria in who’s upcoming film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai 2’ she plays the female lead, was seen cheering for her favourite horses.
Looking toned, lean and uber thin in a white chiffon-esque mini dress, the lady sizzled at the Turf club. This is probably the most stylish we’ve seen the Sinha girl, who usually favours Indian wear and casual clothes. Completing her ensemble were a pair of aviator sunglasses, and a neat updo for her tresses.
The races are a place to dress in one’s Sunday best, and Sonakshi sure seems to have taken the cue from other stylish fashionistas who usually throng the elite races.
Sonakshi was last seen in Ajay Devgn’s hilarious comic caper ‘Son of Sardaar’, the film which posed stiff competition at the box office to Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Among her upcoming projects, she has several big films in her kitty.
On asked about her pairing with Saif Ali Khan in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Bullet Raja’, she said, “It’s a very fresh pairing and I am looking forward to work with Saif Ali Khan. I actually wanted to work with him for quite some time, and luckily got an opportunity with ‘Bullet Raja’. I am extremely excited to work with Saif.”
The film, whose plot revolves around Uttar Pradesh-based mafia, has already begun shooting. Sonakshi though, will join the crew in February 2013. Said the lady, casually dropping names of her other projects into the conversation, “I believe they have already started shooting the film. I was busy shooting for ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2’ and ‘Dabangg 2’, so I will join the crew of ‘Bullet Raja’ in February.”
She also revealed that she is lucky to have such a dream run at the box office, ever since her first film, Salman Khan’s blockbuster ‘Dabangg’ in 2010. She says, “Luckily I am doing some good films, and I am fortunate to be part of ‘Lootera’, which has been a tough role and different.”
In Vikramaditya Motwane’s ‘Lootera’, Sonakshi features opposite Ranveer Singh.
