MUMBAI: Ace photographer and Bollywood lens man Dabboo Ratnani’s 2013 calendar launch was a super starry affair, going by the A-list attendees. Bollywood’s biggest names, including Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Hrithik Roshan and Vidya Balan turned up to grace the calendar launch at Olive Bar and Kitchen in Bandra, Mumbai.
We caught up with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the calendar launch, spotted playing with Dabboo’s adorable young daughter. Actor Arjun Rampal’s presence only caused more confusion regarding the rumors of a rift between the two.
Newlywed Vidya Balan too showed up to support her friend, and was seen in her traditional anarkali. ‘Agneepath’ hunk Hrithik Roshan who is known to be extremely close to Dabboo, also made a grand entry in a black tee and black leather blazer. He was also seen mingling with the guests and buddy Arjun in particular.
Speaking of the man of the moment, Dabboo Ratnani looked mighty pleased that so many of his B’town friends had turned up to launch his fabulous photo calendar for the new year. He was seen happily posing with his wife and three adorable young daughters. At the stylish soiree, we caught Vidya Balan whispering something to Hrithik: which got us very very curious indeed.
‘Student of The Year’ stars Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan too made an appearance, in chic casual wear, and were seen marveling at the stunning photos for the calendar, which were hung up on the walls. Some of the photographs were truly stunning visuals, in black-and-white. Kajol wowed us with a surprise visit, and a new style statement: a black jumpsuit with a pink cravat.
Also present at the restaurant were other Bollywood personalities including Aftab Shivdasani, Evelyn Sharma, Tara Sharma, Gauhar Khan, Sophie Chaudhry and Salim-Suleiman.
