MUMBAI: Proud producer Ekta Kapoor hosted a grand, star-studded success party for her film ‘Shootout at Wadala’, which had opened to a fantastic box office results on Friday, 3 May.
The gang of guys from the film gathered together at Ekta Kapoor’s swanky home in Mumbai, to drink, dance and make merry to mark the success of their film, which had a bumper box office opening over the weekend.
Producer Ekta Kapoor played gracious host, as she welcomed her hero, ‘Manya Surve’ aka John Abraham into her home. John was casually clad in a navy shirt and jeans, and looked thrilled to have tasted sweet success with ‘Shootout at Wadala’.
Tusshar Kapoor and Anil Kapoor behaved like long-lost brothers at the party, laughing and joking with gay abandon. Director Sanjay Gupta soon joined the duo, and the trio sure made for a happy picture. Anil wore his usual characteristic ‘jhakaas’ attitude on the sleeve of his grey polo tee and jeans.
Hostess Ekta Kapoor herself chose a formal black strapless gown to mark the momentous occasion. She was seen personally welcoming the other stars of the film, Manoj Bajpayee and Sonu Sood. Bajpayee looked a tad reserved, and stuck close to Sood.
Also present at the star-studded party were Karanvir Bohra and his wife Teejay, the former in an overly cleavage-revealing black shirt and brick red pants and a grey fedora, the latter choosing a sensible yet glamorous gold lamé mini dress.
Sadly, the film’s heroine (Kangana Ranaut) and fabulous item girls (Priyanka Chopra aka Bubbly Badmaash, Sunny Leone and Sophie Choudry) were nowhere to be seen.
