Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has broken all records with its powerful storyline and a strong message. Not only that, it also gave rise to many real life events.
By now we all know that an Indian girl renamed Geeta had crossed the border unknowingly 14 years ago and got stranded in the land of Pakistan. Geeta’s story has a striking resemblance to the reel movie ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ which is also based on the story of a stranded Pakistani girl in India.
Well, after a long 14 years, Geeta is back in India. Early on Monday, Geeta left the charity bound for the airport in the city of Karachi for a flight to New Delhi. Soon after she reached India, she got a warm welcome from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Modi also took to his twitter handle to express about the same.
He tweeted a picture of him with Geeta holding his hand adorably captioned as, “Welcome Geeta. It is truly wonderful to have you back home. Was truly a delight to spend time with you today.”
Also, Salman Khan who had earlier spoken in support of Geeta during his film Bajrangi Bhaijaan release, will meet Geeta soon after she settles down in India. Revealing on the same, director Kabir Khan had said that Geeta has expressed her desire to meet Salman Khan and once she settles down they will arrange a meeting with the ‘Being Human’ star.
Also after Geeta’s request, Kabir Khan directorial film Bajrangi Bhaijaan will be dubbed in a sign language, so that special people like her could watch the film too. The dubbing of the film will be undertaken by the help centre for persons with special needs being run in Tukoganj police station.
