Rajinikanth And Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 Satellite Rights Sold For This Whopping Amount!

Rajinikanth’s 2.0 is said to have finalised television rights to Zee TV for a whopping amount.
Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0 sells it’s satellite rights to Zee for a whopping amount of Rs 110 crore. This includes Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Sreedhar Pillai took to Twitter to announce the news for 2.0. He wrote, #ZeeTV, is said 2 have finalised television rights #2pointO in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu for record Rs 110 Cr. Super
Lyca Productions, the makers of the project, have confirmed that it will be made on a whopping budget of Rs 350 crore.
Speaking at a press conference earlier, a representative from Lyca said that they are confident of recovering the investment, thanks to the grouping of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar, who was brought into the project in place of Terminator star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Robot 2.0 is all set to clash with Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 4, the fourth installment of the super-popular ‘Golmaal’ series.
2.0, directed by Shankar, will have Amy Jackson as the only female lead. AR Rahman is the music composer and the visual effects work will be taken care by Srinivas Mohan, who has earlier worked in Baahubali. 2.0 is set to release in November 2017.
