Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor since his debut has been crowned as the next big thing of the industry. After performing various versatile roles and characters, Ranbir finally managed to become the superstar for the younger lot. However, after a long record of hits, the Kapoor lad also witnessed a few flops and failures.
One of the most talked about film ‘Bombay Velvet’ featured Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar. The film nonetheless did not show any considerable figures at the box office. The film surely is now being tagged as a failure in Ranbir’s career. Not stopping at just one failed film, Ranbir also witnessed failure with the films ‘Roy’ and ‘Besharam’.
The handsome star met with loads of criticism and flak. A few also suggested that the heartthrob has now lost his charm on the silver screen. But no, Ranbir is surely looking forward for his upcoming film ‘Tamasha’ opposite actress Deepika Padukone. The hopes from the film are very high as it is directed by Imtiaz Ali.

While discussing on the lines of failures and criticism Ranbir commented, “I don’t think critics have been harsh on me. I have got amazing response for most of my films. So, I deserve this criticism because those were my choices. I have been lucky enough to have got a lot of support from my fans. I took all the praise with a big heart so I should take the criticism well too.”
The hardworking actor Ranbir added, “People should feel sceptical about me. It makes me work harder. It makes me not take my work for granted. It makes me realise that all the love and praise I was getting meant something. To earn that back, it will mean more now because you go through this phase. I don’t know if I will get it back or not but definitely the desire is to prove myself again and start from scratch.”
Well, all we hope is that Ranbir finds his lost stardom with the film ‘Tamasha’ which is set to hit the screens on November 27th, 2015.
