Anurag Kashyup’s Bombay Velvet has been in news from quiet a while on its release dates. But this time the movie has released its small glimpse from the movie.

Ranbir Kapoor’s who plays a street fighter Johny Balraj in the movie looks rugged and aggressive in the poster. Bombay Velvet‘, based on historian Gyan Prakash’s book ‘Mumbai Fables’, narrates the story of how the city in ’60s became a metropolis against the backdrop of love, greed, violence and jazz music.

Recently director Anurag Kashyup has denied the rumours that the film has been postponed again. He took on the twitter to clear that the movie release is not postponed.
The film stars, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar in lead roles with Kay Kay Menon, Siddharth Basu and Manish Choudhary appearing in supporting roles and is scheduled for release on May 15, 2015.
