Recently, Mastani Deepika Padukone was awarded “Woman of the Year” by the Femina Beauty Award and unfortunately she couldn’t be part of this prestigious ceremony but nevertheless her Bajirao Ranveer Singh was all there for her, on her behalf. He went up on the stage to accept this award. As he got up to accept Deepika‘s award audiences ended up laughing as everyone knows about Ranveer‘s possessiveness towards Deepika (who won’t be ??) But ignoring that reaction, fun-loving Ranveer accepted her award and he said “To be honest, Woman of the Year – I’m really, really, really proud of her. She’s a lovely girl. She’s so grounded in spite of experiencing staggering success. I’m serious. I’ve learned so much from her.”

Deepika is currently shooting in Toronto for Vin Diesel‘s “xXx: The Return Of Xander Cage” and that’s the reason why she couldn’t make it to this event but we are sure this gesture of Bajirao will make Deepika extremely happy.
