Veteran actress and Bollywood’s evergreen Diva Rekha is all set to illuminate the silver screen with Abhishek Kapoor‘s next Fitoor.
The film also stars Katrina Kaif and latest heartthrob Aditya Roy Kapoor in the lead roles. Rekha, Katrina and Aditya will be seen sharing screen space together for the very first time.
After the huge success of 2013’s Kai Po Che, Abhishek Kapoor has paired up again with UTV Motion Pictures with their next Fitoor. The movie is an adaptation of Charles Dicken‘s famous novel Great Expectations. The story of the movie is set to revolve around the three characters: A Kashmiri boy Noor (played by Aditya) his muse Firdaus (played by Katrina) and an effervescent begum (played by Rekha). Apparently the movie will be largely shot in North India, Delhi and in some international destinations.
The beautiful Rekha will play the desi version of the famous character of Miss Havisham from the novel. She will be seen portraying grey shades in the film. Rekha‘s character will be of catalyst which spins the love tale forward. While Katrina is said to be playing the role of a heart breaker.
Abhishek has earlier proved his prowess by directing the much acclaimed film Kai Po Che and we now eagerly wait to see his cinematic version of the novel Great Expecatations and also Rekha‘s performance in the film. The movie is all set to be released in 2015.
