MUMBAI: Emraan Hashmi, the much-in-demand star, recently launched his previous film’s DVD, ‘Raaz 3’ here in Mumbai. The horror flick was a hit film, the DVD of which has been released by the film’s makers. The ‘serial kisser’ as he has been termed by the media revealed how it all came to be.
“I kiss in every film because my directors are making me do it!” joked the star.
Clearly amused, Emraan added, “You (the media) have not stopped asking me this question..so definitely that (kissing) is something that has been happening since so many years, and I will continue to do so in my forthcoming films. I’m happy about my hit streak. My films have been super successful.”
Also present at the DVD launch was the director of the film, Vikram Bhatt, and Mahesh Bhatt the producer. The DVD was launched in Andheri.
Speaking about his choice of films, Emraan said, “I don’t know about my sensibility, I don’t know about the way I look and if I fit in with my looks into a love story, whatever. But I think I am pretty twisted in my head to do a traditional romantic film,” the 33-year-old said.
Emraan Hashmi has never starred in a true blue romantic film and feels he is “pretty twisted” to ever feature in one. “My idea of romance is also extremely quirky and twisted. I don’t think the world is ready for it yet,” he added.
Meanwhile, talking about “Raaz 3” director Vikram Bhatt, Emraan said: “Vikram has made horror a real mainstream genre which I am very happy about because it’s my favourite genre.”
Vikram Bhatt’s latest production “1920: Evil Returns” has also been well-received by the audience. Emraan’s upcoming films include “Ghanchakkar”, “Unglee” and Dharma Production’s next project.
