NEW DELHI: ‘Son of Sardaar’ is travelling across the country, and the latest city to catch the ‘SOS’ fever is the Capital, New Delhi.

Never mind the ongoing tussle with YRF, ‘Son of Sardar’ stars Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha happily landed in the capital city to promote their much awaited film. The film is touted to be a hilarious comic caper, with central focus on the lion-hearted Sardar community.

Devgn has mentioned in many interviews that he wanted to portray the Sardars as they were in real life: brave hearted, loyal and extremely jovial.

At the promotional event, Ajay Devgn looked casual in a checked shirt and trousers, and a surprise pair of reading glasses perched on the bridge of his nose. Sonakshi is back to her rustic, desi avatar it seems; she was spotted in a bright rani pink churidar kurta, and plaited hair.

The stars seem to be going all out to promote their upcoming film, which releases alongside Yash Chopra’s last film, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’. Competition between these two films is heating up, and each camp is leaving no stone unturned in their attempts to grab maximum eyeballs.

Meanwhile, Ajay’s wife Kajol, who was spotted at an event in Mumbai, refused to comment on the decision taken by the Competition Commission of India (CCI) rejecting Ajay Devgn Films’ (ADF) complaint against Yash Raj Films (YRF).

“I am not going to comment on that. Thank you,” she said.

For Kajol, this is a precarious scenario. A loyal wife, but also a true Yash Chopra heroine. Fans love her on-screen jodi with ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’s lead Shah Rukh Khan; But the actress has a lot to ponder, keeping in mind her real life marriage.

It is unclear whether the actress will turn up at the ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ grand premiere (a tribute to Yash Chopra’s life) or not. But insiders suggest that Kajol will definitely make an appearance, considering she owes her Bollywood career to the late legendary filmmaker.
