[tps_footer]Bollywood actor Salman Khan walked a free and relieved man from the Bombay High Court on December 10, after the court announced the verdict in Salman’s favour on 2002 hit and run case.
Finally, after a wait of 13 years, the verdict had come out and the actor was announced a free man. Salman was cleared of all the charges levied on him by the prosecution. It was surely the happiest and peaceful day for the actor as after taking rounds of the courtrooms for years, Salman Khan can see the bright light in his life now.
Not only Salman Khan, but also his father and family members were ‘happy and relieved’. In a recent interaction, Salman Khan’s father and renowned scriptwriter Salim Khan said, “Everybody is happy. Every person who is close to Salman emotionally, is happy. I am happy and relieved.”
He also added saying, “People are saying he has just walked away. He has been in the jail for few days. He has spent over Rs 20-25 crores (on the case). Besides this, what about the tension that he and everyone went through all this time?”
Well, Salim Khan has put a price of Rs 20-25 crore on the journey of his son Salman Khan’s 2002 hit and run case. But well we ask if this is big enough in comparison to what the actor makes out from his movies and shows?
Nevertheless, on the work front, Salman Khan is now busy with the shooting of his upcoming film Sultan. The actor is also grabbing all the eyeballs for Bigg Boss 9 as Shah Rukh Khan is teaming up with the actor for the promotions of his much talked film Dilwale on December 19-20.
