[tps_footer]Sushant Singh Rajput who is leaving no stone unturned for his upcoming biopic on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni, finally has a female lead for the film. Neeraj Pandey’s ambitious project M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story has been in the limelight since its announcement and loads of actresses have been speculated to play the female lead opposite Sushant.
The mystery has finally unfolded and the female lead for the biopic has been finalized. According to reports, the actress to play the role of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi is Kiara Advani. Actress Kiara made a mark in the Bollywood industry after her film Fugly. Reports suggest that Kiara has been finalized to play the female lead in the much awaited biopic.

Additionally, the makers of the film were highly impressed with Kiara’s audition and the actress has already started preparing for her role. Kiara is all geared up and is trying her level best to look promising in the role of Dhoni’s wife Sakshi. A source close to the project confirmed the news saying, “It was quite challenging to find the right casting for Sakshi as people at large have seen enough of Sakshi and the comparison is very obvious. The director always wanted a young actor in the film – not someone who has done many roles and audiences have seen enough of her to form an impression or an opinion about her. He basically wanted an actor without a baggage. Kiara’s audition was just amazing. Her chemistry with Sushant during the auditions and rehearsals made her land the role. Kiara has been rehearsing non stop to look and act the part.”
The biopic since its inception has been much in news; there were also rumors that the movie has shelved. Sushant starrer biopic was also much in headlines for its leading actress. Speculations earlier suggested that the three beautiful entrants of Bollywood- Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Kriti Sanon were approached to play the female lead opposite Sushant.
However none of them confirmed the news and the leading lady for the film has now been announced. Coming to the biopic, the film will concentrate not only on the cricketer’s professional life but will also focus on his personal life. Biopic M.S.Dhoni: The Untold Story will commence with its shooting schedule from this month end.
