In a recent trailer of Rendezvous with Simi Garewal where Rishi Kapoor and his wife Neetu Kapoor are seen sharing a couch has taken viewers by surprise.
Even though much has been spoken and written about the strained relationship between him and his son Ranbir Kapoor, it was astonishing to see that Kapoor admitted to not seeing any of Ranbir’s films. When quizzed about the son missing his father’s affection, Kapoor said there was a glass wall between them wherein they could see each other, but not feel anything.
Even in the interviews given in past, Kapoor admits to having ‘scre*ed’ his relationship with his Barfi fame son and believes it’s too late for any change now.
On the show with Simi, Kapoor’s usual humorous Punjabi style was also quite evident while answering Simi’s questions, reacting to his wife comments or while interacting with the audience. The show seems to have covered a lot of ground from the duo’s life including dating period, possessiveness of Kapoor, the bitter-sweet marital life problems. The final question that has got everyone waiting eagerly was when Garewal asked Neetu Kapoor if given a chance would she marry Chintu, as he is fondly called, again? The answer to it is awaited!
