True to his beliefs, Salman Khan is going to host Bigg Boss 6, but by making it a “wholesome entertainer with a parivarik punch.”
So all those who have been glued to the five seasons of the series purely for the fights, indecent behavior, expletives and innuendos will be in for a surprise!
Instead of Sunny Leone (an adult actress), Seema Parihar (a former bandit), Pooja Missra (a troublemaker), and Raja Chaudhary (a man who allegedly beat up his wife), you will find personalities from the film and television industry who have a clean and responsible image.
And it seems Salman Khan has been instrumental in bringing this change. The challenge for the broadcasters and the producers (Endemol) will be on how to implement the change. Moving away from the trademark negativity and adopting a clean image will require some serious thinking and change in format.
Apparently, this was a joint decision between Salman and the broadcasters. Salman is a big star with a huge fan following, especially among kids. So if that is the way they can attract more viewers, then this change could well be a win-win situation.
Now it only remains to be seen if the experiment will be successful.
