At an event, Varun Dhawan opened up on an advice Salman Khan gave him for Judwaa 2.
Varun Dhawan has had an amazing career so far and is now all set to step into the shoes of Salman Khan for Judwaa sequel. Varun Dhawan will be seen in a double role for Judwaa sequel. It won’t be a piece of cake for Varun Dhawan to fit in the character played by Salman Khan in Judwaa. But the actor is all set to give his best.
Judwaa (1997) was a big film in Salman Khan’s career and the actor has lots of memories attached to the film. Judwaa 2 shoot commences in the same week as the original Judwaa completes 20 years of its release.
Varun Dhawan, who is stepping into the shoes of Salman Khan in the sequel to Judwaa, says the superstar has advised him something. He has to listen to his director and not be over smart. “The only advice Salman Khan has given me for Judwaa 2 is that, listen to your dad (director David Dhawan) and don’t be over smart.”
Before the shooting of Judwaa 2, Salman Khan sent Varun a gift. Any guesses what it was. Varun received a carton with a pair of jeans that Salman had worn in Judwaa.
While Salman had wooed Karisma Kapoor and Rambha in the original, Dhawan Jr will serenade Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in the sequel, which releases on September 29. Like always, Sajid has roped in an interesting and fresh cast this time too, making Judwaa 2 one of the most awaited films of the year.
