[imagebrowser id=262] PANCHGANI: The hill station of Panchgani was treated to Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan and his protégé Deepika Padukone, who traveled 225 kms to announce the ‘Zee Cine Awards’ of 2013. At the press conference, we were given insight to how Zee plans to celebrate the centenary year of Indian cinema.
One hundred years ago, Indian cinema was born with Dadasaheb Phalke’s ‘Raja Harishchandra, in 1913. And a 100 years later, Bollywood has come a long way, with a talent explosion of sorts. The films keep getting bigger and better with each passing year. Naturally, the Bollywood industry is very excited, and is planning various events to commemorate the completion of 100 years of Indian cinema.
The awards functions to be held next year will be doubly special for this very reason. This is why Zee Cine awards decided to host a press conference in Panchgani, to officially announce the grand plans that are in motion.
We spotted Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone travel towards the sleepy town of Panchgani, to be present at the press conference to announce the Zee Cine Awards 2013.

SRK was stylishly clad in a pair of jeans, a simple black tee and a brown suede jacket: very elegant, very chic! Deepika chose to wear a casual nude pink blouse and ripped denims.
After creating waves in foreign destinations like Dubai, Singapore, London, Mauritius and Macao, this year, Zee Cine Awards is returning to home turf. This year’s Zee Cine Awards will be held in India, and will celebrate 100 years of Indian cinema.
What’s more, we will witness Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone set the stage on fire, at the upcoming Zee Cine Awards night, with their scintillating performances.
