Shah Rukh Khan: I Wish That My Make Up Is Done By A Female Make Up Artist

We saw many different moods of superstar Shah Rukh Khan at the recent Dadasaheb Phalke Awards 2015 held in Mumbai. The actor at the awards event promised to work even more hard to make sure he entertains his fans till he lives. It’s great to hear such magnificent words from SRK who is already a superstar.

He said, “I thank you all and promise to work even harder and make sure that I entertain you as long as I live. Thank you for making me the star that I am,” while interacting with the press outside this event

On the other side, the entire Bollywood industry is thrilled with first make up artist Charu Khurana into the Cine Costume Make-Up Artist & Hair Dressers’ Association. For 59 years now, women make up artists were barred from an official registration in this association. For the last six years, the fight had been on and the ladies finally won this one with Charu being the first woman to get an entry into the association.

When Shah Rukh Khan was asked about this, he said, “There should be no difference between man and woman. It’s a good step and I wish that my make up is done by a female make up artist.”

Also actor Hrithik Roshan took to the twitter account to welcome Charu. He tweeted; Charu Khurana has been inducted as d 1st female make up artiste in d film industry! About time this prehistoric gender battle was won!bravo!

Charu Khurana is been recognized for her wonderful work she has done in past. Also U.S. President Barack Obama appreciated Charu during his visit to India in January. She did make up for him just before his interview in January.
