MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn have had a spotty history together. Although Shah Rukh Khan is good friends who is married to Kajol, last year, when both their films released on the same day – Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Son Of Sardaar’ – there were problems aplenty regarding number of screens.
But it looks like these two have now moved on. Rohit Shetty, who has directed Ajay Devgn in films like ‘Singham’ and ‘Golmaal’, seems to have mended feelings between them while working with Shah Rukh Khan on ‘Chennai Express’.
Shah Rukh Khan wished the best for Rohit Shetty’s next film, a sequel to ‘Singham’, which will star Ajay Devgn in the lead as the titular character. The actor said, “I would pray that Inshallah his next ‘Singham 2’ does much more business than ‘Chennai Express’ because he deserves it.”
At the same time, Shah Rukh Khan mentioned that he feels a director’s job is very lonely. “Being a director is a very lonely job. So you don’t just thank them, you just stand by them. For the film also, as an actor, and as a friend we all tried to stand by him,” the superstar said.
Looks like Shah Rukh Khan is one person who will never think about becoming a director.
