Bollywood actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui was planning to start his journey from something he had started with a 20years ago before he became the biggest star in the industry. The talented actor was looking forward to getting back to the stage show in Ramleela at Budhana, but the organizers were asked to cancel the show by Shiv Sena activists. One of the reasons they were given is that Nawazuddin is a Muslim and that no Muslim has ever played a role in the Ramleela in the UP, where he was born.
The Shiv Sena activists also cleared that they will not move from their stand as the actor was also in the news recently after he was accused by his sister in law for dowry harassment. Reportedly, after repeated protests from Shiv Sena, the organizers had to cancel Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s role from Ramleela.
Siddiqui also tweeted a video of the rehearsals for the Ramleela from his official Twitter handle saying. “My childhood dream could not come true, but will definitely be a part of Ramleela next year. Check the rehearsals.”
