Shraddha Kapoor, in her upcoming film Haseena where she plays the titular character, is all set to play the role of mafia don Dawood Ibrahim‘s sister Haseena Parkar.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the upcoming biopic touches upon Haseena’s dealings with slum redevelopment authorities.
Siddhanth Kapoor who plays Dawood Ibrahim in the biopic has started shooting in mid-October in Mumbai with the song “Bantai“, followed by a week-long schedule in Bangkok; while his sister, Shraddha joined the cast on Tuesday for a photoshoot.
At this photoshoot, the cast and crew of the film was joined by Haseena, her daughter Umaira, son Alishah, nephew Sameer Antulay and a few other family members.
The Rock On 2 star said, “The family has been very cooperative and even let us borrow some of Haseena’s things, including her nose ring.” Shradhha will start filming for the movie in January as she gets busy with the promotions of Shaad Ali‘s OK Jaanu also starring Aditya Roy Kapoor, which an official remake of Mani Ratnam‘s hit Tamil film, OK Kanmani.
