The girl next door Shruti Haasan is on cloud nine after the success of her just released film ‘Welcome Back’. With her film gaining all the positive reviews, the actress is appearing to be choosy now when it comes to signing films.
Film ‘Welcome Back’ garnered impressive collection at the box office and the audience is also loving the comedy flick. With the success of the film, actress Shruti is also being noticed by many filmmakers it seems. After ‘Welcome Back’, Shruti was being considered for Milan Luthria’s next project ‘Baadshaho’ opposite actor Ajay Devgn.
Ajay Devgn starrer film ‘Baadshaho’ is helmed by Milan Luthria and the filmmaker was certainly keen on casting Shruti for the female lead. However the sad news is that Shruti Haasan has reportedly backed out from the film. According to reports, Shruti and Milan had several discussions about the project and Shruti was keen to be a part of the film as she liked her character. However, after the final narration of the script, Shruti seemed to be displeased with the same.
It is being said that Shruti initially liked her role in the film, but during the final narration, her character had drifted and no longer contributed to the story. Shruti is on an all-time high in her career, the actress has had successful releases not only in Bollywood, but also in Tamil and Telugu industries.
Nevertheless, Shruti still wants to work with Milan in one of his future projects apart from ‘Baadshaho’. After sharing screen space with actors like John Abraham, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor and others, a film opposite Ajay Devgn would have surely been a cherry on the cake. Well, it seems like Shruti is up for more challenging roles in her up scaling career.
