Sidharth Malhotra had made fun of the Bhojpuri language on Bigg Boss 11, and Neetu Chandra didn’t like it!
The Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra recently tried speaking in the Bhojpuri language on the show Bigg Boss 11. But ended up making fun of it. This didn’t go well with the actress Neetu Chandra, who took to Twitter to slam the actor. And now the actor has come up with an apology.
Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss had a guest from B-town on every weekend. The celebs used the popularity of the show to promote their films. Sidharth had also visited the show to promote his upcoming film Aiyaary. He was also accompanied by his co-stars Manoj Bajpayee and Rakulpreet.
On the show, Sid had tried speaking a few lines in Bhojpuri. After which he said that it gave him a feeling of ‘latrine’. When the actress Neetu Chandra saw this video clip, she found it very disrespectful towards a language. She took to Twitter saying, “So disappointed @S1dharthM some1who is so fortunate 2 work wd d best. Who despite being an outsider has made a name 4 himself,4 U 2 use ur words so loosely.2 disrespect #Bhojpuri on national TV. SHOCKED! How on earth does speaking in #Bhojpuri gives u a latrine feeling.Shame on U.”

Now it seems that the Aiyaary actor has taken note of Neetu’s words. And hence he has come up with an apology. Not mentioning the actress in specific, Sid apologized to anyone who got hurt by his words. He wrote on Twitter, “I recently tried speaking a new language while I was on a TV show. In the process if I inadvertently hurt anyone’s feelings or sentiments, I apologise and assure you that no disrespect was meant in any way.”
