No need to be frazzled, Sidharth Malhotra has returned to Twitter! Although his new avatar might shock you!
Sidharth Malhotra has always been active on social media. So yesterday when his Twitter’s display picture went blank, his bio was ‘Off’ and he tweeted, “sorry i am done !“, naturally, people lost their cool. Fans from around the world implored the actor to come back on social media.
Alia Bhatt was considered to be one of the reasons for this drastic step. Although after pondering we came to a possible conclusion.
There was a possibility that Sidharth is preparing for his upcoming role in ‘Aiyaary’ and hence has gone into isolation. And we were correct!
Sidharth made his come back when Manoj Bajpayee i.e Colonel Abhay Singh tweeted, “Major jai bakshi!!as your commanding officer i order you to come bak.@S1dharthM #Aiyaary” (sic)

To this Sidharth promptly tweeted back in a new avatar.

Sidharth’s Twitter display picture has been changed to picture of him donning the military uniform, aviators and with snow-clad mountains in the background. His handle’s name has also been changed to ‘Major Jai Bakshi’. Even Manoj’s Twitter profile has a new avatar. His display picture is similar to Sidharth’s. Manoj’s name too has been changed to ‘Colonel Abhay Singh’.
Sidharth later pacified his fans with this tweet:

So now we know this was a promotional activity for the upcoming crime-drama ‘Aiyaary’. In the movie, Sidharth plays the character of Major Jai Bakshi and Manoj Bajpayee portrays Colonel Abhay Singh. Clearly, this role is very different than the ones Sidharth has played earlier. ‘Aiyaary’ is about the bond between the young major and his colonel. This is the first time that the duo will be sharing a screen. Apart from Sidharth and Manoj the movie also stars Pooja Chopra, Rakulpreet, Anupam Kher and Naseeruddin Shah. Produced by Shital Bhatia, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada, Motion Picture Capital and directed by Neeraj Pandey ‘Aiyaary’ is expected to release on January 26th, 2018.
