MUMBAI: Ajay Devgn seems to be in no mood to let recent controversies surrounding his latest film, ‘Son of Sardaar’, bog him down. The lion hearted ‘Singham’ superstar recently arranged yet another special screening of ‘Son of Sardaar’ for his celebrity friends.
Despite the recent war between Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan, over the distribution of their respective films ‘Son of Sardaar’ and ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’, Ajay Devgn is carrying on full steam ahead with the release of his film. He will release ‘Son of Sardaar’ as scheduled, on 13th November, 2012.
At a recently held special screening, we spotted the film’s hero, Ajay Devgn, playing gracious host to his B’town friends. The man donned a black Pathani kurta pyjama, his trademark 3 day stubble, and jet black reading glasses, as he was ushering friends and family into the theatre.
Among the various B’town stars, we spotted the film’s parallel lead, Sanjay Dutt with wife Manyata. Sanjay, who recently returned from the U.S with a makeover, was seen looking fitter than ever in a white T-shirt and black jeans.
Devgn’s family saw representation in sister-in-law Tanisha Mukherji, who is his wife Kajol’s younger sister. The lady shone in a brilliant white anarkali kurta.
The guests at this filmy do were cricket stars Gautam Ganmbhir, Harbhajan Singh, Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh. Virendar Sehwag also came along with his men in blue, to sample the comic caper. It sure seemed like a boys’ night out for our favourite cricketers, as they were spotted enjoying the film.
