Talented actress Sonakshi Sinha who made a mark for herself in the industry with her debut film Dabangg itself has bagged her first biopic. The tinsel town of Bollywood seems to be on a biopic spree. With many filmmakers coming up with biopics, director Apoorva Lakhia is also coming with a biopic on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena.
Lootera actress Sonakshi will play the lead role in the biopic titled, Haseena- The Queen of Mumbai. Coming to the biopic, the movie will be based on underworld don Dawood’s sister Haseena. It is said that Haseena was the closest to Dawood out of all the other siblings, Haseena lived in Nagpada in Mumbai and died in 2014 after a severe heart attack. The lady has a very interesting life and director Apoorva is all ready to display the same on the silver screen.

It is being said that Sonakshi wanted to be a part of a biopic since a long time and has finally bagged one in her kitty. The beautiful actress will be seen playing the role of Haseena Parkar. The biopic will depict the journey of Haseena’s life. After impressing everyone with her elegance and hit films, Sonakshi is said to be the perfect choice for this biopic. The Dabangg girl will also be seen in a hard hitting avatar in the film Akira, by AR Murugadoss. Must say the few films old Sonakshi is already high on experimentation with her choice of roles and with the newly landed biopic in her kitty, it is surely a great move for her career hat.
Not only does Sonakshi impress everyone on the silver screen the actress is also being adored by the audience on the small screen. Sonakshi has successfully debuted on the television by donning the judge’s hat on the singing reality show Indian Idol Junior.
According to reports, film Haseena– The Queen of Mumbai which is to be directed by Apoorva Lakhia will go on floors early next year.
