The amazingly talented actress Sonakshi Sinha, who has now donned the judge’s hat in the singing reality show Indian Idol Junior, is also a mentor to the contestants. The ‘Dabangg‘ actress, who believes in promoting the right talent, has now become an angel for a Indian Idol Junior contestant Nahid Afrin. The 13 year old talent bundle has got her first break already, thanks to Sonakshi Sinha. After giving amazing performances in all the episodes, the little talented singer has managed to impress diva Sonakshi.

Nahid, who performed on the romantic song ‘Zara Si Dil Mein’ from the film ‘Jannat’, made everyone drool with her wonderful voice. Her performance on the soulful track amazed not only the audience, but also the judges. After receiving applauds for her dedication and singing talent, Sonakshi added the cherry on the cake by asking her to sing for her upcoming film ‘Akira‘. The girl was surely head over heels with this kind of response, and instantly, nodded a yes.

Must say, getting a break in the Bollywood industry at such a tender age, is no less than a massive achievement. Nahid Afrin has been applauded even before, but she managed to steal the show with her last performance on the romantic song.

Other than Afrin making her singing debut, it is also being said that Sonakshi will also sing in the film ‘Akira‘. Many actresses have ventured into singing, including, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor and Anushka Sharma. Sonakshi Sinha will be the new entrant in the list. Directed by A.R. Murugadoss, ‘Akira’ also stars Amit Sadh and Shatrughan Sinha in key roles apart from Sonakshi.
