Priyanka Chopra was quick to reply: “Thank u @iamsrk..ur belief has always kept me going!”

And finally, completing the Khan triumvirate is actor Aamir Khan who is also said to have been equally impressed by the actor-cum-singer’s debut single.

Our sources reveal that Aamir who’s been shooting in Chicago for Dhoom 3 caught the song playing regularly during the National Football League playoffs. He was surprised at the magnitude of the launch and called it an awesome song.

Looks like for Priyanka this is a great time. Her song is being loved and her film has been selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars.

Here are the lyrics of Priyanka Chopra’s “In My City”:

“I know you got your own town… I know you got your own ways… I know you got your own life… I’m just sayin’ C’mon down to my place.

Come on make some new friends,
And tell me what you drinking:
I know there’s a place like home,
But I know you gonna like it in my city;
Everybody’s welcomed here…
Everybody welcome to my city…
We ain’t got no worries here,
I know you gonna like it in my city…
You know you gotta a friend in me…
You ain’t gonna wanna leave
(c…c…come on c…c…come on)
You ain’t never had a party…
Till you come to party in my city.”
