Sushant Singh Rajput Reinvents Himself !

Sushant Singh Rajput, who is an outsider and started his journey by doing theatre and has made it big on his own in the industry. He is currently basking in the glory of his recent release M.S Dhoni : The Untold Story. This young actor is one of the most talented and brilliant actors of his generation.

His power packed performance as Dhoni is winning accolades for his gilt edged depiction of the cricketing legend, making him is one of the paramount reasons for the success of the films.

The actor leaves no stone unturned to get into the skin of his character. He has reinvented himself time and again, with distinct and varied roles in each of his films.

In his 2015 release, Byomkesh Bakshi, Sushant played Bengal’s most famous sleuth and earned immense praises for his striking performance.

He was last seen in one of the highest grossers of the year, M.S. Dhoni : The Untold Story, which received immense love from the audience, alongside being one of the critically acclaimed movies of the year which entered the 100 crore club.

With M.S. Dhoni : The Untold Story, Sushant showcased an exemplary depiction of the cricket sensation. Sushant has gone to extreme lengths to prepare for this role. The actor had undergone hours of cricket practice as well as watching Dhoni‘s style of playing. It was seen that the actor had perfected Dhoni‘s famous helicopter shot, as he hit the ball in the same fashion that the Indian skipper is famous for.
Apart from cricketing skills, the most difficult task at Sushant’s hand was to emote caption cool by understanding Dhoni‘s mindset. What does Dhoni thinks when he is on field, how does he feel when he wins a match or loses one, how does tackle pressure, he had to understand Dhoni’s temperament, for which he put in alot of hardwork, the results of which were evidently incredible.

Now for his upcoming movies, Sushant will be reinventing himself, yet again.

He will be slipping into the character of a boy-next-door in Dinesh Vijan’s rom-com Raabta, opposite Kriti Sanon. ‘Raabta’, which is extensively shot in Budapest, Mauritius and Punjab, is a love story based on dreams and destiny. The film also has some high octane action sequences, which Sushant shot himself.

While for Homi Adajania‘s Takadum, the actor has learnt to play the guitar. Sushant is playing a singer in the film and shared a video on Twitter where we see him playing a guitar. From the video we can say that he does not seem to be a newbie and can definitely play. The actor has been dediacting a few hours daily to learn the instrument.

Sushant loves to observes people and reinvent himself as an actor. He believes in cultivating skills as per the role requirement, and involes in intense research, even if it is a fictional character just to make sure that in his head on the first day of the shoot he is the character that he is potraying.

The actor will also be seen in Tarun Mansukhani‘s action drama, opposite Jacqueline Fernandez.
