‘MS Dhoni:The Untold Story‘ has turned out to be the biggest grossing opener in biopic genre. Sushant Singh Rajput has been applauded by Bollywood fraternity and audiences alike for his stellar performance.
His family has joined the nation in applauding SSR. When asked about whether his entire family has seen the movie, this on-screen Dhoni replied, “Yeah, they finally did. And they were extremely proud that I dropped out of engineering college to pursue acting. It was a huge compliment for me,”
This Kai Po Che star was pursuing mechanical engineering at Delhi Technological University but chose to drop out of the college in the penultimate year to pursue a career in acting. He has risen from a newbie television actor to the Bollywood star.
It was also reported that Rajput had prevented his family from watching the movie until he was with them to see their on the spot reaction. Interestingly, Sushant‘s elder sister Mitu is an actual cricket player in the family and she has even helped her brother to play Dhoni‘s role to perfection.
Talking about his family, he further added, “They know me inside out and they’re big admirers of Dhoni so I feel it’s a big step forward if I could convince them that this guy is me.”
With no big release till Ae Dil Hai and Mushkhil and Shivaay which are releasing during Diwali, MS Dhoni movie has so far collected Rs 121.48 crore and hoping to generate more revenue.
