MUMBAI: The already muscular and powerful star-cast of ‘Shootout At Wadala’ was provided added muscle, in the form of Bollywood starlet Sunny Leone!
Sunny Leone, who has performed a walk-on part and an item song (‘Laila’) in the multi-starrer project directed by Sanjay Gupta, was suitably kitsch and filmy in a black-and-brown sequined bikini top and a long skirt. She even performed the raunchy item song on stage, amidst a group of dancers, at the music launch at Inorbit Mall in Malad.
Sophie Chaudhary also raised temperatures with her on-stage act, clad in a short mini dress, with cutouts on the sides and a plunging neckline.
Sophie has reportedly replaced the film’s heroine, Kangana Ranaut, in an item song opposite John Abraham, which understandably didn’t go down too well with the curly haired actress.
John Abraham, playing the fearsome gangster Manya Surve in ‘Shootout At Wadala’, also joined Sophie on stage, and had a blast performing to the high-octane number. He was seen in a white shirt, black pants, a black jacket, black shades and a red scarf, looking very macho.
Anil Kapoor, the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star also put in an appearance at the ‘Shootout At Wadala’ music launch, looking menacing in black. Producer Ekta Kapoor looked on as her team, including singers Sunidhi Chauhan, Mika, music composer Anu Malik and director Sanjay Gupta took to the stage.
Sonu Sood, who’s been injured, entered the event seated atop a vintage car, dressed in a checked shirt and faded denims, with his legs showing off his injuries. Also present at the music launch was talented actor Manoj Bajpayee, in his capacity as a gangster in ‘Shootout At Wadala’.
John Abraham left the ‘Shootout At Wadala’ music launch in a bus, to promote the film. Looks like the ‘Shootout At Wadala’ is pulling out all stops to ensure the audience is ‘encountered’ when the film releases!
