Today, when production houses and producers are investing 100 to 150 crores in a film, Mughal-E-Azam was made in Rs. 1.5 Crores. Now, the reason why this film’s in the list because back then, 1.5 crore meant A LOT! Back in 1960s it was considered to be huge amount of money.
