[tps_footer]ABP News recently organized a sting operation on Salman Khan’s acquittal from the blackbuck poaching case. In the sting operation, the lawyer of driver Harish Dulani, the only eye witness who saw the actor hunting the blackbuck and the chinkara in Rajasthan in 1998 said that Dulani had taken 80 Lakh from the actor to change his statement and settle the matter.
Two days after the actor got acquitted in the two pending cases of poaching a chinkara and a blackbuck, the witness Harish Dulani came out to justify his disappearance stating that he received threats for the testimony.
Not only had Dulani confessed his statement to the bench, He had also been part of two or three hearings in a subordinate court in Rajasthan before his disappearance citing the threats he and his family had received.
In the sting operation conducted by ABP, his lawyer Ashok Parihar spoke about how Dulani entered into a deal with Salman’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat.
Parihar also said that Dulani had purchased two plots from the money he received.
However, there is no direct proof of any transfer of funds between the two parties.
The Rajasthan High Court had asked the prosecution to present Harish Dulani before giving out Salman’s judgement. However, when the prosecution failed to present him, the Chief Judicial Magistrate acquitted the actor.[/tps_footer]
