Known for his melodies, Mithoon did not disappoint his listeners. Baarish and Muje Ishq Se from the film Yaariyan were the most beautiful romantic numbers. Hai Dil Ye Mera, from Hate Story 2 was both written and composed by Mithoon, though the song did not catch up for long onth charts, but still remains the choice of many who love melodies and specially the Mithoon fans. His top compositions from the movie Ek Villain were Zaroorat, Humdard and Banjara all the three songs were written and composed by him, and were very well received at the music countdowns and chartbusters. The soothing music with contemporary touch in Hum Na Rahe Hum, Mehboob Ki, Ik Pal Yahi from the film Creature 3D fared well.
