The latest installment of Hate Story franchise has finally hit the theatres and it opened to massive expectations.
While the revenge-drama Hate Story received mixed reviews from film critics, it has received a positive response from the audience and it is doing well at the box-office.
While the audience has applauded actress Urvashi Rautela for her performance, her fans have praised the film for its plot, cinematography, and the climax. Many people have pointed out that this film is different than previous ones as it has a gripping story, power-packed performances, and less skin show.
Considering the hype, the film is expected to earn a total of Rs 10 crore by the end of its first weekend. It may even cross Rs. 12 crore since the film is performing well at the box-office.
Trade analyst Girish Johar says that Hate Story has been one of Bollywood’s successful film franchises and audiences have a certain kind of trust factor when they book their seats for the film. Talking about the film’s audience, Johar says, “Hate Story 4 has built an appeal for itself among the masses and it is expected to do well in two-tier cities, majorly on single screens. Its songs have caught on with the fans and the buzz around the film is also pretty decent. Hence, it is expected to do comparatively well at the box office.”
Interestingly, Hate Story 4 is doing better than Taapsee Pannu’s Dil Juunglee, and the film is going to be the week’s best performer at the box office.
