Visiting Mecca for any Islam follower is a moment of happiness. Every Muslim dreams of visiting it once in their life times. Veena Malik along with her husband Asad Bashir Khan Khattak, were lucky enough to live the dream. After the whole experience, they felt pure, from the inside. It was a lifetime opportunity for her.
In the most honest discussion in modern times, Veena says, “Every Muslim is obliged to travel to Mecca, and perform the Islamic ritual of the Hajj at least once in their lifetime, because it is the fifth pillar of Islam. I consider myself and Asad lucky and the experience had the purest impact on me.”
As she came back from her religious trip Veena Malik formally announced her retirement from the commercial film industry.
Very few people know that Veena had a series of failures before she struck gold with Pakistan’s popular comedy show Hum Sab Umeed Say Hain.
Then she tried her luck in India where once again, she acted in a succession of failures including Zindagi 50-50, Gali Gali Mein Chor Hai and Tere Naal Love Hogaya.
While in India, she created quite a controversy when participating in Big Boss Season 4. Additionally, her allegedly nude photo shoot for the Indian online edition of the international monthly men’s lifestyle magazine, had created a stir as well.
Veena tied the nuptial knot with Asad at the Emirates court on December 25, 2013 in Dubai and will soon have a White Wedding in America.
Recently, Veena also did an exclusive photo shoot along with Asad for Vogue International. One look at the pictures and one can say that both are looking very happy and much in love. Post her marriage, Veena seems be to on a high and in a jovial mood, frolicking around with her hubby.
When asked about how she feels being married, Veena stated, “I am more than happy. I think I am the happiest girl in the world. Destiny just plays its part, we were destined to be together.”
