Karan Johar’s recent announcement on becoming a father to twins, Yash and Roohi, has taken social media by storm.
Karan Johar on Sunday announced that he has become a father to twins via surrogacy. Fans and Bollywood celebs can’t stop showering blessings at the filmmaker.
The babies were born at Masrani Hospital in Andheri, Mumbai where Shah Rukh Khan‘s third child AbRam was delivered also by a surrogate mother.
Shah Rukh Khan was the first one to know that Karan Johar was planning to have babies through surrogacy as he had only introduced the director to Dr. Makrand Masani of the Masani Hospital.
Who’s who of Bollywood have wished Karan, not only on social media, but also at recent events. At Mijwan Summer 2017, Bollywood celebs Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Farah Khan, Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao and many others have wished Johar.
At Mijwan Summer 2017 show, Shah Rukh Khan was asked to comment on Karan Johar’s fatherhood. To which he replied, “We wish him happiness. But it’s still very personal. So, don’t think that I am being cagey by not answering about it. I have had this moment in my life so I know how personal it is. So, let’s respect it and leave it to that. We will have love, celebrations, happiness and health later.”
Later, Aamir Khan’s wife Kiran Rao too was asked to comment. Well, she had a shocking reaction.
