Cricketer Yuvraj Singh and model-turned-actress Hazel Keech tied the knot yesterday at the spiritual Dera of Baba Ram Singh Ganduan Wale in village Duffera on Sirhind, Chandigarh. The adorable couple exchanged the wedding vows in an intimate affair. The wedding was a low-key affair attended by only close relatives and family members. Also, tight security was arranged near the Dera.
Hazel looked gorgeous in maroon and red combination lehenga with intricate golden embroidery while Yuvraj Singh looked a royal dulha in maroon velvet sherwani. The whole marriage arrangements were made by Yuvraj Singh’s mother Shabnam Singh while Yuvraj’s father and former cricketer-actor Yograj Singh did not attend the wedding as he was against of marriage being solemnized by a Dera leader as he said in an interview that he believes in god, not religious leaders. He had also said that he will attend wedding reception of his son but not marriage.
The wedding reception is all set to take place in Delhi on December 7 and is going to be a star-studded affair. The wedding invites have been sent out to the who’s who of cricket and Bollywood fraternity.
