Why Amitabh Bachchan Showed Disgust For The People Who Take Selfies?

Amitabh-Bachchan-AdAmitabh Bachchan’s recent post on facebook clearly says Ye Tumhare Baap Ka Ghar Nahi. Oh Yes! He showed disregard for the people who are insensitive and who don’t know how to use the social media.

My dear friend passed away suddenly… was chatting and suddenly gone! Fragility of life… Went for the cremation to Delhi… at the cremation, people taking mobile pics and ‘selfies’… disgusting!

They have no respect for the dead and no respect for the living that come to pay their respects for the dead…,” the Piku actore wrote.

He didn’t appreciate people taking selfies at the cremation of his friend. He was shocked to see people using that moment for clicking selfies. Quite hard to digest!

This is not the first time we have seen people misusing the social media and Amitabh never fails to stand for something he strongly believes in.

Amitabh recently attended the celebration of the US Independence Day in Mumbai where he was the guest of honor. He said ‘‘Cinema doesn’t discriminate and is instead, a great integrator of communities’’.

While talking to the audience, he said, ‘’We cry at the same emotion, we laugh at the same comedy scene and we sing the same songs,” Big B said while addressing the audience’.

He also added, “I have never ever seen any kind of institution, regretfully in today’s times, that can under one roof, propagate these principles that cinema does, and I am very proud to be a very small member of this fraternity,”

The US Consulate General organized this event to mark the country’s 239th Independence Day which is celebrated on July 4.

Talking about the films, Amitabh is currently busy with Wazir which is a Hindi drama movie and expected to release in December. The movie also stars John Abraham, Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Varun Gulu. The movie is directed by Bejoy Nambiar.
